FC Platinum is on the verge of signing two players who are close to retirement to bolster the teama��s strike force.
Top of the list is former Zimbabwe youth international Mkhokheli Dube who will join another veteran, ex-Dynamos and Hwange stocky striker Takesure Chinyama who has returned from Poland.
According to a well-placed source Dube (34) is expected to join FC Platinum courtesy of a swap deal that will see Ishmael Wadi retrace his footsteps to the City of Kings and Queens to join Bulawayo City.
Before he made a switch to Platinum, Wadi turned out for Southern Region Division One side Bulawayo Chiefs.

Chinyama, who scored 26 goals for his Polish team in the just ended season, was unveiled at Mandava Stadium on 26 May.
During his days at DeMbare the striker formed a deadly combination with Roderick Mutuma under former Warriors coach Callisto Pasuwa.
The source added that if the Dube-FC Platinum deal does materialise the former Highlanders and Chicken Inn striker, who boasts of several coaching badges, was also tipped to soon take over as one of the coaches at FC Platinuma��s developmental side.
The platinum minera��s Under 19 team plays in the Zifa Central Region Division One League.
Dube played in the US Major League Soccer (MLS) for New England Revolution and Chicago Fire.
The speedy striker had an illustrious career at MLS side New England Revolution where he spent three years between 2008 and 2011, scoring 14 goals in 72 appearances.
In his first season at New England Revolution in 2008, Dube was named a Rookie of the Year finalist and also won the SuperLiga Championship.
Dube had a brief stint with Chicago Fire before packing his bags for Durban, South Africa, to play for AmaZulu where he signed a three-year deal in 2012.
The coastal side released him six months into his contract after hiring new coach Graig Rosslee. . .
