AT just 20, Mzolisi Mtshayisa has already made a name for himself in the Zimbabwean modeling industry. With a passion for fashion and a drive to succeed, Mzolisi is inspiring a new generation of models.

Growing up in Barbourfields and Mzilikazi suburbs, Mzolisi’s love for fashion was sparked at a young age.

Despite the lack of resources and awareness in his community, he persevered, determined to grow as a model.

Mzolisi’s first runway experience was daunting, but he quickly gained confidence and skill. His breakthrough came when he met a local groomer in Bulawayo, introducing him to the world of modeling. He has won Misters of Zimbabwe 1st runner up, Mr Bulawayo and reigning Mr Earth Zimbabwe 2025.

“I want to provide opportunities for young models, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to pursue their dreams,” Mzolisi says.

His organization, MenInMiles, advocates for representation and diversity in modeling. Mzolisi is dedicated to philanthropy, using his platform to support local charities and initiatives.

“I believe it’s essential to give back to the community. As models, we have a responsibility to use our influence positively.

“To every African child, your dream is valid. Pursue your passions, and don’t let anyone discourage you. You’re the captain of your ship,” Mzolisi advises.

Mzolisi is set to host the Misters of Zimbabwe 2025 Bulawayo Auditions in January 2025.
He said aspiring models can look forward to this exciting opportunity to launch their careers.
