Faith Ndlovu
Indaba Zabantu Entertainment has issued a stern warning to Hansel Ndlovu also known as Ma9nine, demanding a public apology for his recent diss track that contained derogatory and defamatory remarks towards comedian-cum-musician Sipho Mercent Nyathi.
According to the press statement, Ma9nine’s diss track was in response to Mercent’s song “Wrong Turn,” which contained the lyric line “Ngizothatha UMa9nine ngimenze uNumber 10.”
Ma9nine perceived the lines as an insult, leading to him releasing a diss track.
However, Indaba Zabantu Entertainment- a stable which signed Mercent, has condemned Ma9nine’s actions stating that his response was unacceptable and crossed boundaries of respect and civility.
“…..We are better off pulling together instead being embroiled in this petty fight. As Indaba Zabantu Entertainment we do not mingle in people’s business we therefore expect to be treated with the same respect,” reads part of the statement.
Indaba Zabantu Entertainment has given Ma9nine 72 hours altimatum to issue a public apology.
Failure to comply with the demand may result in further action as Indaba Zabantu Entertainment has warned that “every action has an equal and opposite reaction.”
As the deadline for Ma9nine’s apology approaches, all eyes are on the artiste to see how he will respond to the demands.
