Renowned historian Pathisa Nyathi has died at the age of 73, leaving a profound impact on Zimbabwe’s academic community and beyond.
Nyathi passed away after being admitted to a private hospital in Bulawayo on Friday morning due to a recurring illness.
Nyathi was celebrated for his extensive knowledge and research on Zimbabwe’s history, as well as his dedication to preserving and promoting the country’s cultural heritage. Throughout his illustrious career, he authored numerous books and articles, making history accessible to the public.
