“When I released Awukhuzeki I didn’t believe it would take me this far. It has opened doors that I have been knocking on for many years and now I am inside the room where the greats exist.
“This song changed my life. I have been an underground artiste for many years, but when I released it, it hit the radio waves and became an instant hit, a scorcher which is now an anthem in Bulawayo and the rest of Zimbabwe is singing to it.
“I would like to take this time to give thanks to everyone who believed in my craft from day one and a special mention to Ras Quisity for encouraging me to continue working hard. He is one brother who always has my back. I will forever be grateful.
“I am looking forward to winning the awards on the night because I know my followers are voting for me,” said Fury Gun.
