THE peopleas paper played its citizen part in bringing to book a Bulawayo man suspected of sexually feasting on women through a?bluetooth sexa? known to African science as mubobobo.

Meluleki Moyo from Morningside appeared in court for the second time in three years for a similar crime of indecently assaulting women through the black magic practice.

He was unlucky this time when Bulawayo magistrate Charity Maphosa sent him to prison. She said he was a a?social misfita? who did not deserve the courtas mercy.

She said Moyoas conduct was morally deplorable and described him as a social misfit who was an embarrassment to himself and society and hence deserved a custodial sentence.

Moyo will serve an effective five months in prison after the magistrate suspended four months from his sentence for five years on condition that he does not within that period commit a similar crime.

The unrepentant mubobobo user was busted in action on 17 March at around 5pm at a shop situated in Bulawayoas Central Business District.

For the State, Kudakwashe Jaravaza proved that on the day in question, a woman whose name is being withheld for legal reasons was doing shopping with her sister when Moyo stood behind them.

While standing behind them, he unzipped his pair of trousers and pulled out his erect manhood and repeatedly rubbed it on the complainantas buttocks. In the process he made movements and expressions synonymous with those of someone having sex.

The court further heard that the complainant felt something was being pressed onto her buttocks and at the same time she was alerted by another woman that it was Moyo who was allegedly rubbing his organ on her buttocks.

When she looked behind she found Moyo vainly trying to close his zip but his supercharged sexual organ betrayed him when it a?refuseda? to go back into his pair of trousers.

a?When the complainant turned her back she saw Moyo in the process of zipping his trousers while his organAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA was still protruding and she screamed for help leading to his arrest,a? said Jaravaza.

A security guard, who testified in court, said he initially thought that Moyo had stolen from the woman when she screamed.

Moyo, in his defence, denied indecently assaulting the complainant, arguing that she was framing him.

In mitigation, Moyo, who is not married and has no children, pleaded for leniency, saying he was looking after his mother and siblings.

Sources at the magistrate courts revealed that B-Metro helped them dig up files from Moyoas first mubobobo crime.
