The wait is finally over!
Food and music fanatics are set to be treated to an event to remember as South African AmaPiano producer and wheel spinner Mr Jazziq is set to be the headline act at this year’s Munch & Sip event slated for 14 September at Harry Allen Golf Club in Bulawayo.
Some of the creatives who will join the Mr Bean hitmaker on stage are Travellers Band, King Her, Prince Eskhosini, Keezy AM, Feel G, Mr Stripes, DJ Nospa, Frosty, as well as DJ Jay.
Comedian and celebrity Chef Carl Joshua Ncube and Chef Sindi have been roped in to provide culinary services at the event. Chef Sindi is renowned for her masterful approach to cooking, focusing on protein-rich dishes that showcase the rich flavors of game meats and fresh fish.
Her menu also celebrates the heartiness of Zimbabwean staples, featuring innovative takes on corn breads and steamed breads that have become signatures of her culinary repertoire.
Ntando Ndlovu who is one of the organisers of Munch & Sip said all is set for the show to happen. He said that they roped in Mr Jazziq as the main performer because he is a brand to reckon with as far as entertainment and leisure is concerned.
Ndlovu said that more fun is expected as they also have a massive line-up of youthful performers from Bulawayo who have been tried and tested on the local entertainment scene.
“Mr Jazziq has an incredible ability to connect with audiences through his unique sound and energetic performances. His music resonates with both young and older fans, making him a perfect fit for Munch & Sip, where we celebrate diversity and culture through food, music, and entertainment.
“We wanted an artiste who not only embodies the vibrant spirit of the festival but also has a strong influence in the current music scene, and Mr. Jazziq truly fits that bill.
“Curating the lineup is always about striking the right balance between showcasing established talents and giving a platform to emerging artistes and by carefully selecting a mix of genres and artistes, we’ve crafted a line-up that ensures there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a fan of high-energy beats or soulful melodies.
“On this edition, we want to create a dynamic experience that caters to different musical tastes while ensuring that each performance complements the overall vibe of the festival,” said Ndlovu.
