Madam Boss to grace BET Awards

Multi-award winning comedienne Madam Boss has been announced amongst special guests for the 2024 BET Awards, set to take place on 30 June at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States of America.

This prestigious invitation marks a significant milestone for Madam Boss, recognising her outstanding contributions to the local and world entertainment industry.

BET Awards celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies personalities.

The event promises to be a celebration of talent and excellence, and Madam Boss’s participation is expected to proudly represent Zimbabwe on the global stage.

The accolades ceremony will be hosted for the third time by Acrimony superstar actress Taraji P. Henson.

Canadian rapper Drake received the most nominations as he is nominated seven times, followed by Nicki Minaj with six nominations, J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, Victoria Monét, and Beyoncé with five each, and 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher all with four.

RnB godfather Usher will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Artistes who will perform at the event include GloRilla, Latto, Mini Long Shaboozey, Victoria Monet, Lauryn Hill, YG Marley. Ice Spice, Tanner Adell and South African Amapiano sensation Tyla.
