FINALLY, the law has caught up with the raunchy dancer who was recorded having ORAL SEX with a reveller on stage at a nightclub in Epworth recently.
Kim of Spicy Angels was remanded in custody when he appeared in court in Harare on Monday.
She was arrested over the weekend − almost one month after the incident which was widely condemned online.
Kim had been on the RUN after lying to police that she would hand herself in for questioning.
She was, however, finally arrested and brought before the Epworth Magistrates’ Court facing indecency charges.
She was remanded in custody until today. Her shameless conduct was condemned by many Zimbabweans and was also described as UNACCEPTABLE by the Dancers Association of Zimbabwe. The DAZ also suspended her licence. This means that she cannot perform as a dancer for the time being.
The disgusting incident occurred at Choggs Bar in Epworth.
The video sparked outrage among members of the public who wanted the dancer and her partners-in-crime to be arrested.
Police acted quickly after the video emerged and H-Metro covered the story and gave it front page prominence.
The Spicy Angels leader was summoned by police following the incident and promised to hand herself over to the authorities but did not do so.
She had been playing hide-and-seek with authorities until her arrest at the weekend.
In the video, the Chitungwiza-based dancer took a male fan to the stage and made him lie down.
She pulled down his trousers and even removed his underwear, exposing the fellow’s manhood.
Kim then started performing oral sex acts in full view of the patrons of this nightclub.
The man, who also acted indecently as he performed some disgusting oral sex acts, should also be arrested. He became a partner-in-crime by allowing himself to be undressed in public and also by performing those oral sex acts.
He is as guilty as Kim and should face the law.
Even the owners of that bar should be investigated and arrested.
They allowed their place to be an arena for those shameless acts.
It appears that all that they want is to make money and are not concerned about how they make their money.
They should be held responsible for what happened on that night of shame.
This should send a powerful message to others that they will be held responsible if such shameless acts happen in their backyard.
If a football stadium, for instance, collapses and people are injured and killed in the mayhem that follows, those who manage the facility are brought in to answer certain charges.
That should be the same thing with those who run such nightclubs and allow people like Kim to perform such shameless acts.
We are happy that Kim has been arrested and is now facing the full force of the law.
We have a responsibility to protect our kids from believing that oral sex acts in public are acceptable.(Hmetro)
