Dynamos 3-1 ZPC Kariba
FORMER FC Platinum star Donald Mudadi was the star of the show as Dynamos cruised through to the quarter-finals of the Chibuku Super Cup at the expense of ZPC Kariba at Rufaro.
The attacking linkman was involved in all three goals that were scored by Dynamos, after breaking the ice in the 14th minute, and then setting up Emmanuel Paga and Nomore Chinyerere on either side of the half time break.
For the duration that he was on the pitch, before limping off with signs of exhaustion in the 76 minute, Mudadi provided both hope and entertainment to the DeMbare faithful, who had watched their side crumbling in mediocrity for most of the season.
Nyasha Gurende pulled one back from a well-choreographed freekick in the 86th minute but it was too late for any hopes of a comeback by the visitors.
And, it was another good day in the office for DeMbare, who are working their way up again under interim coach Lloyd Chigowe.
