DYNAMOS chairman Isaiah Mupfurutsa has quit the Harare giants.
Mupfurutsa, a banker by profession, left the club barely 24 hours after coach Tonderai Ndiraya was shown the door for failing to clinch the 2022 Castle Lager Premiership that was ultimately snatched by rivals FC Platinum.
He joined the Harare giants four years ago.
“Dynamos Football Club would like to reveal that Isaiah Mupfurutsa is leaving his post as chairman with immediate effect.
“Mr Mupfurutsa has served Dynamos with distinction since 2018 when he was appointed chairman. Therefore, Dynamos Football Club would like to thank Mupfurutsa for his tireless dedication to the team. He will always be welcome at Dynamos Football Club because he is a staunch believer in the team,” announced club spokesman Tinashe Farawo.
Former Lengthens Football Club executive Beadle Musa Gwasira is tipped to take over from Mupfurutsa.
