This year marks an important development in the countrya��s horse racing calendar as the sponsors of the Castle Tankard Horse Racing event together with their partners Mashonaland Turf Club will launch the Castle Tankard Double Booster Promotion Experience in trade.
The 54th edition of the Castle Tankard event will see, for the first time, consumers of all lager beer brands participating in the running all-brands promotion Cash Booster Promotion.
In the promotion, consumers will get an opportunity to get their grand draw prize money doubled by Castle on the grand draw day if they are present at the draw.
a�?This exciting news also comes at the back of Castle the biggest beer brand in the clear beer portfolio unveiling a new communication for the brand a�?where everything comes together!a�? said Delta Beverages marketing manager Patricia Murambinda (ABOVE).
a�?This year the grand draw for the all brands cash booster promotion will be held at the Castle Tankard event on 7 May at the Borrowdale Race Course. The prizes for the grand draw are $3 000 and $2 000 for the first and second prizes respectively. The third prize is valued at $1 000 and there will $500 consolation prizes to 60 winners. The first three prizes will be doubled up if the winners are at the race course on race day,a�? added Murambinda.
The Castle Tankard Horse Racing event is the first ever sponsored horse race in Africa and it remains the most prestigious horse race in Zimbabwe.

Murambinda also revealed that this yeara��s event would feature a lot of exciting activities which include entertainment from Jah Prayzah, Winky D, XQ and DJ Stavo, paratroopers jump and dash for cash racing event.
